Welcome
I have created this website with the intent of procuring an art teacher position within a school in the North Texas area. Here, you can examine the quality and variety of my training in Visual Arts and information about my recent teaching experiences from the points of view of both educators in the field and student's experiences familiar with me in the school environment.
I am very grateful that you have taken the time to view my page and would like you to know that I am currently in search of a permanent art room "home". Being an art educator has fulfilled two of my long term goals in life; to teach students valuable art lessons and continue to grow as an educator and artist. I provide a safe learning environment for my students, build character on an individual basis and foster their growth as a community in the classroom.

A teacher is to a child as an oyster is to a pearl.
My job as an educator is to engage our children and help them grow.
Specifically, as an art teacher, it is my goal to give them a place where they feel free to create in a secure environment. Each child is as precious and unique as a pearl.
As their educator my intent is to help children find what is unique within themselves.
I cultivate creativity in the classroom the way an oyster cultivates its very own pearl.
